Freshman Option Talk
This event provides information to freshman undecided or concerned about the course load or work required to pursue the Electrical Engineering Option at Caltech. It also introduces students to the general concentrations available for EE majors, and to upperclassmen they can talk to for advice or give feedback on EE classes
Graduate Option Talk
This event is intended for Juniors and undecided Seniors, to give students some structure on their intended path after undergraduate studies. It outlines some timelines and potential pitfalls for students pursuing both academia and industry, and allows for an informal Q&A between students that have just begun the process and those that are finishing it.
Student-Faculty Athenaeum Lunch
The Student-Faculty Athenaeum Lunch is a semi-formal, Caltech IEEE funded luncheon where student members and EE faculty can meet and discuss interests. It gives students and faculty a forum for discussion outside of the classroom or office hours.
Student-Faculty Barbecue
The Student-Faculty Barbecue is a Caltech IEEE provided venue for students and faculty to meet in an informal environment, where the board members grill food for the guests.
